Andy "The Pieman" Smith Darts Exhibition at the Woodland Cottage, Redditch, Worcestershire
What a fantastic night!
Andy "The Pieman" Smith played a special exhibition match at the Woodland Cottage to help celebrate Dan Hayes 13th Birthday. The place was packed and with the Premier League darts on the big screen as well it was definitely DARTS NIGHT!!
Andy played 10 matches in all - 8 x 1001 where he scored a massive EIGHT x 180 and 17 x 140 - under difficult circumstances (mostly the banter in the background!)
The other two games were played with Andy only scoring on Bullseye & the 25 - finishing on double 13, we were all particularly impressed as in both games Andy NEVER had a non scoring go and had 3 scores of 100+ on the trot!!

Dan had two fantastic games of darts, playing Andy who could only score on Bulls & 25's and HAD to finish on double 13 - guess what.... First game to Dan AGAIN! Andy put in a sterling performance and pinched the second to earn an honourable draw with the birthday boy!

We then held a raffle to get 4 "randoms" to play Andy and beat him where the County Players (except Zoe!) had failed!

It should be noted that Brom had been busy all night shouting and was not warmed up, and had a bad leg, and it was really hot, and had not measured the oche, and it was noisy.....you get the picture!
We would all like to thank Andy "The Pieman" for his top class entertainment, he acted and played like a true professional and Dan especially will never forget - THE NIGHT HE BEAT THE PIEMAN!
