DUTCH YOUTH DARTS KNOCKOUT March 2008
There were around 40 girls who entered, the first part of the tournament was a round robin of 5 girls on each board, the top two going through to the last 16.
Zoe won her first game well, she won 2-1 scoring 4 ton + and an impressive 20.95 Average, the next game Zoe won 2-0 with 3 ton + and a 19.64 Average.
The third game saw Zoe have a 22.72 Average 3 ton + lots of 80+ scores and a 84 game shot winning 2-0.
The last round robin game she had a 16.98 Average winning 2-0 with 3 ton +
Then it was the knock out stage Zoe played against Laura Schudde (Dutch youth number 8 ranked player) which was a good game of darts.
Zoe winning 3-0 with a 22.10 Average scoring 5 ton + and again a lot of 80+ scores.
In the last 8 Zoe played her best game of the day taking on the Dutch number 2 Lynn Poolen who also played some fantastic darts. Lynn took the first leg with a 70 game shot after Zoe had left double 10 after 21 darts, The next 3 legs went Zoe in 18, 20, 23 darts hitting all her doubles first time and hardly missing the trebles she had 7 ton + and a brilliant 24.19 Average.
The Semi final was just as impressive as Zoe won 3-0 against Nikita Van Meulen (Dutch number 10 ranked player) having scores of 6 ton + and a 21.47 Average.
The final Zoe came up against Kristie Struker Dutch Youth number 1 , sorry I didn't take any scores down for this game I could hardly watch the game!
Kristie took the first two legs, Zoe the third and missed her doubles to make it 2-2 , after being 3-1 down Zoe fought back to make it 3-2 only to lose the sixth leg and the final 4-2 with another good average of 20.34
