Northern Youth Singles Coventry., The hard practice that Zoe has put in has paid off; with about 16 girls entering the event Zoe breezed through all the early rounds scoring very well and most important hitting the doubles! The final was a different story though; Zoe came up against Elisha Evans for the second time this year in the final of a competition.Zoe had beat Elisha 3-0 in the Leicester open and was very happy with her game so going into the final was quite relaxed. The final went all the way both players scoring extremely well, and with that in mind the pressure in finishing the games off showed.With the score at 2-2 it was another high scoring game, Zoe getting to her double first but not able to close the match out, Elisha then had darts to win but she also was finding it difficult to get that winning double eventually Zoe found the winning double and took the Northern Youth Singles Title. I would like to say well done to Elisha as I think that she is a fast improving player and will be a force this season.Winning the title as assured Zoe a place in the Winmau World Championship in December.
